If there is no audio on a track, then import button is available on the right-bottom of the track.
If there is audio on a track, tap on waveform of the track, then import command is available on the shown menu.

Users can always edit audio in Audio Editor Plus with touches and gestures.
With the following touches and gestures, the jobs can be done conveniently and effectively.
1. Set the cursor
Single tap with one finger on the waveform to set cursor
2. Zoom in / Zoom out
Pinch with two fingers on the waveform to zoom in or zoom out.
3. Scroll the waveform
Swipe with one finger on the waveform to scroll it.
4. Select part of the file
There are two methods to select part of the file:
a. Set the selected range on the scale view to adjust selected range.
b. One finger press on the waveform, don’t move, hold for about one second, then slide to adjust selected range.
Pressing on the waveform, don’t move, hold for about one second, This gesture is called as Long Press.
5. Move whole track around
Two fingers press on the waveform, don’t move, hold for about one second, then slide to move whole track.
1. Tap the “Files” button to show all original files.
2. In the files list, all original files can be exported freely.
3. Tap the “export” button to mix down all un-muted tracks and export. This feature is only available for subscribed users.

And we always feel very bad to reply that it is impossible to get these files back if iPhone/iPad had not backup before the disaster happen.
So we strongly recommend users to backup recordings automatically with Google Drive. (This feature is available even in free version of Audio Editor Plus! )
Instructions:
1.Tap the “Gear” button to show the setting page.
2.Log in your google account.
3.Check the upload status in the footer section. If all files were uploaded, the status would be “Done, all in AudioEditorPlus”
More detail information about this feature:
1.On every empty track, there is a red record button, tap that red button to start recording on that track.
2.You can always tap on a track, then select “rec” command in the shown menu to insert recording at that point.
